...They're coming

My worst nightmares have come true... they're coming. A few weeks ago some Biology majors at USU were goofing off in the science lab and they accidently mixed some weird unidentified chemicals--and thus it began. Over the next few days they started acting a little weird, they were quarantined and locked in a hospital for further observation and testing.  They started to exhibit aggressive behaviors and a hunger for meat, soon the doctors were to afraid to enter the room for fear of being fed on by the former students.  Soon it became obvious that there was no other explanation--zombies are here on USU's campus.
Things were going fine and doctors were trying to find an antidote for the zombie virus, but today when they went to the observatory they found that the zombies had broken their way out of the building. The building was put on lock down and extensively searched, but it was too late... they were already out.
Things have quickly escalated, the original zombies began feeding on humans and those once humans then became part of the zombie horde themselves. The few zombies of this morning has now become 71 (63 when I started writing this)and counting.  It is a bloodbath out there. From the security of the library I watched as 3 zombies corner a young female human and brutally fed on her!  The only solace I have found is that I have a gun capable of stunning them but this only lasts for 15 minutes. The zombies travel in packs, animalistically hunting those of us who are left.  The remaining humans are cautious to travel outside, preferring to travel in numbers to better protect themselves from the horrors that surround them, the zombies have an insatiable hunger for human flesh and if they keep up this rate of consumption we will not last until the end of the week. The future is bleak.
I've just learned that there are 3 zombies on campus who are capable of blending in with the humans, I watched as two humans met and one began to devour the other! With zombies pretending to be humans there is no trust among humans any longer.  It's a mad world out there. I am trapped in it.  I'm afraid of being attacked, so I will write more later.... if I'm still alive, that is.
